The way he dodged out of the way from other Slytherin girls made her laugh, it was the same for her.

She watched him from the other side of the Common Room; informed that he didn’t want to act first..

He stood under the door, hopeful, attempting not to catch her eye. She set down her Firewhiskey and walked over, her fingers brushing his own. His head perked up, as if he didn’t know she was approaching him in the first place.

Glances locked.

The only thing better than the kiss was the moment just before, leaving her completely breathless.
