She sits by it, wondering how long it had been there. He was not home yet.

She fights the temptation to open it before he returned, but the more she stared at it, the more her desires grew. This was too much for her.

She snaps the box open, knowing what to expect.

She sees that there is no wedding ring. Instead, there is a paper with his handwriting.
